Unlike in my other blogs, which pursue a central rambling and then have some additions (or not), this entry text only explains what this blog's other entries will eventually be about (if I write more than the one which will follow this).
I am interested in putting forward some ideas about the role played by the contour of a liquid phase in creating a singularity in the interaction beetween molecules of the liquid. The phenomenon is known and given as explanation for the surface tension of liquids. However, I believe that the layer of liquid which experiences this conditions has more impact than just causing the liquid to have a surface tension. The first entry is about how breaking up a liquid by suspending within it solid particles may be causing an increase in the viscosity of the liquid (or better, the suspension) in a way different of our current understanding.
Other entries would be about the role of such phase discontinuity in flow through pipes and membranes, and on condensation and evaporation.
Bye for now!

OK, let's go and upload some content.....
